2021 North American Championship Announcement

Cross Plains, WI. The American Driving Society, Inc. (ADS) is pleased to announce that the 2021 North American Intermediate and Preliminary Championships will be held at the Windsor Trace CDE in Windsor, SC on November 4, 5, 6 & 7, 2021.

“It’s great to have the 2021 North American Championships at a new venue. Lisa (Lisa Singer, organizer) has moved her date to the end of the season and that accommodates the criteria,” said ADS Combined Driving Committee Chair Marc Johnson. “It was easy for the committee to recommend that Windsor Trace CDE be the home of next year’s championships.”

The North American Championships offer classes for VSE, Small Pony, Pony, and Horse. Rochelle Temple is the President of the Jury, with judges Dana Bright and Lynn Legg. Lauren Reece is the Technical Delegate and Barry Hunter is the Course Designer.

“I attended the Windsor Trace CDE as a Learner TD in 2015 and was very impressed with the management of the event and the level of competition I saw,” said ADS President Daniel Rosenthal. “Lisa and her group of dedicated organizers and volunteers have been working toward this objective for some time and all of us who live in the area are excited to welcome ADS drivers from all over the US to next years’ event.”

Lisa Singer reports that she is thrilled to host the North American Championships at what is always a fun show, and is planning to make it a special event. The Omnibus listing for this show will be available soon at www.americandrivingsociety.org.

Established in 1974, The American Driving Society, Inc. supports carriage drivers in the United States and Canada through education, events, rules for competition, and licensing of Officials.
